Why does the browser show a warning when I add an extension?
Every browser lists what an extension may do before it is added, so you can say no. The page of each extension here explains every item on that list in plain words, and why it needs it.
What does "the tab you click it on" mean?
It is the activeTab permission: the extension can see the page you are on only at the moment you click its button, and only that tab. Close the tab or move on and the access ends.
Can I try an extension and remove it again?
Yes. Removing it takes it and everything it kept out of your browser. Nothing is left behind and there is no account to close.
Does it work in Edge, Brave or Opera?
Those browsers add extensions from the Chrome Web Store, so the Chrome version works there too. Safari is not supported.
